Regional Workshop – ‘The Way Forward for the West Midlands’

January 18, 2020 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
The Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Burlington Arcade, 126 New Street, Birmingham, B2 4JQ (just across from New Street Station).

It was a bruising general election result on December 12th despite a fantastic campaign by a host of amazing candidates across the West Midlands, and sadly we see another parliament without a West Midlands Liberal Democrat MP. But, in the midst of the disappointment there is plenty to be optimistic about - we saw gains in vote share in almost every seat compared to 2017, and we now have five seats where we're in second place.
We want to take some time to hear from all our members, new and old, on how we can do better as a region.

We're holding a workshop in Birmingham on the 18th of January to explore some of the reasons for why the results are as they are, and to start to work on our 3-5 year plan for the region. We want it to be very informal, and to get as much input as possible so we'd love for members from all across the region to attend.
