Ming Campbell and Libdem MPs at Harrogate Conference
Stone Liberal Democrats were well represented at the party's Spring Conference in Harrogate over the weekend. "It was a very successful conference indeed. Conference dealt with several crucial policy matters, including a hotly contested debate on the renewal of Trident." said delegate Richard Stevens.
"Liberal Democrat policy is decided by members at conference," explained Richard. " There is no better example of democracy at work than to watch conference debates. Over the weekend we voted on policy documents relating to Iran, Trident, sustainable housing and cutting crime. Real policies - no spin"
And Ming Campbell had everyone on their feet with his close of conference Leader's speech on Sunday. Gordan Brown had better watch out!
