Richard inspects the road in Lotus Court

Roads and pavements in Lotus Court, Stone, are to be resurfaced following a complaint by Richard Stevens, Town Councillor for the Stonefield ward. Last year an elderly resident fell and broke her wrist after tripping over in a pothole. Stafford Borough Council have confirmed that resurfacing will be completed by the end of March.

"I am pleased that the Borough Council are able to carry out the work in this financial year. The road and pavements are in a very poor state and in view of the fact all the residents are elderly it is important that none of them are put at risk," said Richard.
